Protect yourself from recruiting scams

StackCommerce takes pride in its recruiting process and works hard to ensure candidates have a positive experience. We never use hard-sell tactics and do our best to protect any personal information submitted in your application.

If you are approached by a recruiter who makes promises that seem too good to be true, do your homework and make sure the opportunity is legitimate. Be cautious of scammers who imitate employers to extract personal information or money. If you’re ever in doubt, know that StackCommerce and its subsidiary, BrandCycle, live by the following rules:

StackCommerce and BrandCycle will never ask you to pay a fee or buy something.
StackCommerce and BrandCycle will never send you an interview invitation via chat or social media (except for LinkedIn).
StackCommerce and BrandCycle will only send you a job offer using an email address within our domains. StackCommerce and BrandCycle email addresses always have the form name@stackcommerce.com or name@brandcycle.com. Any time you apply for an open position through StackCommerce & BrandCycle careers site https://www.stackcommerce.com/about/#careers or https://brandcycle.com/careers/ you will be redirected to a detailed job posting on our applicant tracking platform, Greenhouse.
StackCommerce and BrandCycle will only ask you for personal information through our domains.
StackCommerce and BrandCycle will never insist that you take action urgently or within a very short time frame (although we may give you a reasonable deadline).
